your opinion, what is the most important event in the novel? Explain what
happens and why it is so important to the story.
- Using
examples from the text, explain why you think the two cultural groups in
the book (the whites and Native Americans) have so many misunderstandings
and cannot seem to get along.
- Explain and evaluate the
ending of the book. Tell what happens and explain why it is or is not a good
ending for this story.
